Overview

VillageOSHC, part of The Extend Group, is seeking an OSHC Service Coordinator at Montessori East Primary School in Bondi to support Outside School Hours Care, play, teach, and care for children in a safe learning environment.

Location: Bondi, NSW

Position: Casual OSHC Coordinator with opportunities for career growth

Base pay range: A$31.00/yr - A$41.00/yr

Included pay note: The Extend Group provides the pay range. Your actual pay will be based on skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. There is also a Workers Retention Payment offering an extra 10% above award.

Role

OSHC Service Coordinator at Montessori East Primary School in Bondi to support after-school activities and care for children in a safe, engaging environment.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the service
  • Develop, plan, and deliver daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and educational
  • Maintain child safety, supervision, and mandatory reporting
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options
  • Create an engaging and happy environment for children
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the school community
Timeline & Schedule
  • After School Care from 2:45pm to 6:00pm
  • Monday to Friday (preferred: 5 days per week)
  • Paid administrative time and regular training meetings
Pre-requisites
  • Certificate IV, Diploma or Bachelor's in children's services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care or equivalent
  • Current Employee Working with Children Checks (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Child Protection Training Certificate (or willingness to obtain) CHCPRT001/CHCPRT025
