Kotti Capital is the single family office of a young, first generation Australian entrepreneur. The firm operates and invests in a wide range of asset classes & areas of interest, solely focused on supporting new ideas.

Kotti Capital is seeking an experienced Lead Systems Administrator to lead our IT department and support critical functions within the family office. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the firm's digital strategy, create a secure and robust IT infrastructure, and drive technological innovation within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with Kotti Capital's business goals. Provide leadership and vision for the IT department and ensure technology initiatives support the overall objectives of the family office.
• Technology Infrastructure: Oversee the configuration and maintenance of Apple devices (iOS and macOS) using Jamf Pro for Mobile Device Management (MDM). Manage SaaS services such as Google Workspace and security platforms including CrowdStrike Falcon, 1Password, and YubiKeys.
• Network Management: Lead the management and operation of network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi hardware, switches, and firewalls. Ensure the network is secure, reliable, and scalable. Experience with Cisco hardware is a plus.
• Information Security: Develop and implement robust security strategies to protect the family office's digital assets. Collaborate with third-party information security teams to implement best practices. Conduct regular stress tests of information security protocols and stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Digital Assets: Help manage the custody operations of the family office crypto digital assets.
• Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with technology vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure service levels and value for money.
• Technology Trends: Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and assess their potential impact on the family office. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to drive business success.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior executives and other stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business needs. Provide regular updates and reports on IT projects, performance, and strategic goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4+ years in IT systems administration and management, with extensive experience in enterprise Apple device setup, configuration, and management using Apple Business Manager and Jamf MDM.
• Security Expertise: Deep background in information security, including experience with EDR, SASE, MDM, and SIEM platforms. Strong understanding of cryptographic operations (e.g., encryption and signing), authentication protocols (e.g., OTP, FIDO2), and transport security protocols. Proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive security strategies and incident response plans.
• Technical Skills: Skilled in Python and SQL for developing data-driven solutions.
• Leadership & Strategy: Proven ability to lead IT departments, manage technology strategy, and execute complex IT projects. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Project Management: Experience in managing large-scale IT projects, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and timeline management. Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
• Compliance & Governance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT governance, data protection, and privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Ability to ensure that the organisation remains compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
• Change Management: Ability to drive and manage change within the organisation, including introducing new technologies and processes. Experience in managing organisational change and helping teams adapt to technological shifts.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate with various departments and external partners.
