About You
You are a results-driven professional with relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Commerce, or STEM fields. Your proven experience in revenue management, pricing, or competitor intelligence, ideally within the travel or tourism sector, equips you with a robust understanding of market dynamics.
You possess strong commercial acumen and excel in financial modelling, demonstrating advanced Microsoft Excel skills that enable you to analyse data effectively. Your exceptional stakeholder management abilities allow you to foster relationships and engage collaboratively within a team environment. You can articulate complex data analyses into actionable insights, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Your experience with Power BI is advantageous, and an understanding of the SQL BI stack further enhances your analytical capabilities. You thrive in a dynamic market environment, proactively thinking outside the box to adapt to change. Your proactive approach and ability to work independently make you a valuable asset to our team.
Your background, which may include data analysis, commercial accountancy, or management accounting, positions you to contribute meaningfully to our objectives.
About The Role
As the Revenue Manager, you will play a crucial role in partnering with corporate teams and the Rail operational division across all aspects of revenue. You will be engaged in analysis, forecasting, yield management, and pricing strategies, working closely with the analytics team to provide insight-driven data to support informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Pricing strategy review
- Revenue Budgeting and Forecasting
- Establish pickup and channel targets for sales and marketing teams to drive performance and accountability
- Development of Promotional Campaigns, including post-campaign analysis and review
- Manage Yield for all products within respective Divisions
- Provide insights, recommendations and analytics to the business for informed decision-making.
Your working week will be primarily based at Journey Beyond's Head Office on North Terrace, with time spent at our Adelaide Parklands Rail Terminal (Keswick).
Commence date would be 1st April 2025 – 12 months maternity leave cover. Working week can be flexible, 5 days per week or 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs).
