The Role
You will lead the effort to efficiently and effectively provide security services and asset protection (lives, buildings, equipment, data, and intellectual property) in Sydney. You will be a key member of the organization, working with cross-functional teams throughout the organization, both domestically and internationally. Additionally, we are looking for an individual who can grow with the organization. PLEASE NOTE: that this role requires working afternoon/evening shifts.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Enhance, track, and report on metrics which are key performance indicators, allowing performance improvements so that the desired outcomes are achieved to plan and in a timely manner.
  2. Assist with investigations of internal and external theft and fraud and conduct interviews when appropriate.
  3. Inspire performance excellence on the part of all security services team members.
  4. Ensure that you understand, align performance and actions with and can clearly articulate the vision and values of the organization and their department.
  5. Meet or surpass your objectives that align with security service model.
  6. Identify, promote and implement security best practices in a designated FC.
  7. Serve as department's liaison and security subject matter expert for facility management keeping them abreast of key issues, strategies and the department's performance.
  8. Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methods to drive process improvements and increase efficiency.
  9. Effectively partner with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes and initiatives.
  10. Coordinate data collection, through database polling or data entry, from multiple FCs; and conduct analysis generating strategic and tactical interpretations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Relevant professional experience in loss prevention, law enforcement, military service, supply chain, asset protection, audit, risk management, inventory control, quality assurance, or other related field.
  2. Proficient with MS Office Professional Suite, to include intermediate knowledge of Excel.
  3. Strong oral and written communication skills (English).
  4. Knowledge and application of physical security systems (such as but not limited to: VSS, IDS, ACS).
  5. Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
  6. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  8. Ability to Travel, both domestically and internationally (intermittently).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  1. Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  2. Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) qualified.
  3. Experience in conducting Investigations (Fraud/Theft, etc.).
  4. Certification in formal investigation procedures (Wicklander-Zulawski or P.E.A.C.E.).
  5. Basic understanding of support business processes (Procurement/Finance/HR/Legal/etc).
  6. Familiarity with databases (for querying and analysing), such as SQL, Access, etc.
  7. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma concepts desirable.
  8. Analytical experience in a performance-based, results-oriented setting.
  9. Experience in Business Continuity Management and basic Crisis Management.
