The Opportunity -

The AH-64E Apache is the world's most advanced and proven attack helicopter. It integrates innovative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Quarantine & Defect Operator, to support the AH-64E Apachehelicopter program. The Australian Apache's will join the growing global fleet of more than 1280 aircraft operating in 18 countries, including coalition and regional partners.

This role is based in Townsville working alongside BDA and Australian Army members.

As the Warehouse Quarantine & Defect Operator, you will:

• Be a vital part of the Supply Chain Capability and contribute to the business growth strategy
• Support Material verification activity to quarantine items which are non-conforming.
• Investigation reporting and record keeping of Defect product records IAW technical assessments
• Support Disposal recommendations and action as required
• Support the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting the supply chain
• Support the warehouse teams in receipting activity's
  
  

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Demonstrated 5 years + experience in Defence aerospace/Foreign Military Sales (FMS) supply chain management
• Experience in Defence warehousing and distribution systems and methodologies
• A working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual and the application of
• A strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems
• The ability to work within a team
• Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence
