Role: Tax Accountant

Location: Sydney

Join a high-performing team where your expertise will support both income and indirect tax compliance across Australia and New Zealand. You will bring experience working with large corporate and high volumes of transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing tax advice to business units, including deal support and GST queries
  • Preparing and reviewing BAS/GST reports for Australia and New Zealand
  • Managing annual FBT returns for both jurisdictions
  • Overseeing monthly and quarterly tax account reconciliations
  • Preparing and reviewing payroll tax returns
  • Completing the Supplementary Annual GST Return

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of Australian tax experience (GST, payroll tax, FBT)
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CA qualification or near-qualified status
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems
