Senior Test Analyst Position

We are seeking highly skilled and energetic Senior Test Analysts to work in our project teams.

This is a fast-paced environment, and we require enthusiastic, professional testers focused on delivering quality digital solutions.

The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work on projects using leading edge technology and delivering great outcomes for our business partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively deliver testing objectives as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including manual and automated testing.
  • Contribute to planning activities with testing estimation at a program, increment, and sprint level.
  • Work with test managers or test leads to identify the scope of the testing required for releases based on the business outcomes and aligned to the department's testing frameworks.
  • Produce test artefacts such as test plans, test cases, and test summaries utilizing test management tools.
  • Work with analysts and developers to plan test activities for test case design, identify the testing effort required, monitor progress, and manage timeframes.
  • Record and track test results and defects utilizing test management tools.
Required Skills and Experience:
  1. Demonstrated experience (5 years+) undertaking system/integration testing of large-scale systems, using manual and/or automated testing methods.
  2. Demonstrated experience producing high-quality testing artefacts, including test plans, test cases, and test summaries, and experience in the use of test management tools such as JIRA/Azure DevOps.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of various software testing methodologies, types, and test case design techniques.
  4. Demonstrated understanding of Testing principles such as Test Phases, Test reporting, Test Traceability, Defect Triage, and the Defect Management Lifecycle.
  5. Experience working in an Agile software development environment and working in a multi-disciplinary project team.
  6. Previous experience working on government agency IT systems or similar experience in the public sector.
  7. Experience working across the Microsoft technology stack, including D365, Azure services, and SQL.
  8. Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools, including Selenium and SOAP UI.
