Overview

The Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of Australia's leading public hospitals. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Cardiac Physiologist to join the team. The primary role involves working in the EP lab, Cath Lab and assisting with the management of CIEDs. Participation in an after hours on-call roster on a rotational basis is also required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform monitoring and stimulation during Electrophysiology procedures
  • Participate in all aspects of Cardiac Implanted Electronic Device (CIED) management including implants, follow up and remote monitoring
  • Assist with training and supervision of trainees
About the Role

The RMH Cardiology team provides cardiology services and supports in the EP lab, Cath Lab and CIED management for patients from RMH, and city and regional clinics (including Albury and Shepparton).

Current mapping systems include Carto, EnsiteX, Affera and Opal (Farapulse).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science/Applied Science in a relevant field
Essential
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Cardiac Physiology including EP and CIED
  • Current registration with the Australian Council for Clinical Physiology (ACCP)
Desirable
  • IBHRE Accredited Cardiac Device Specialist (Allied Professional)
  • IBHRE Accredited EP Specialist (Allied Professional)
  • Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Electrophysiology (CEPIA)
