Human Resources Business Partner

With a workforce of over 5,000 and growing, they're investing in the next phase of their people strategy to build leadership and people capability that ensures they continue to deliver on their ambitious strategic agenda.

The role

This newly created P&C Business Partner opportunity will report to the Head of P&C and is designed to bring increased support and structure to a growing, multi-site workforce. You'll work closely with operational leaders and State GMs to guide people practices, lift capability, and provide trusted advice & partnership where it matters most.

This is a hands-on role with the scope to influence strategically. You'll have the chance to sharpen your ability to influence across a diverse leadership group while enhancing their ability to deliver outstanding customer outcomes through their people.

You will be energised to take the next step in your emerging career and leverage your existing HR skills and expertise to make an immediate impact.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and partner leaders across all facets of the employee lifecycle
• Manage and advise on ER/IR cases and award interpretation
• Drive onboarding, internal moves and people development initiatives
• Support delivery of new systems (HRIS, ATS, payroll)
• Shape and embed people practices across all locations to improve the overall employee experience

• Proven and emerging HR expertise in likely a current advisor or early BP role
• Expertise working with leaders on real-time people challenges
• Confidence managing ER/IR matters and navigating national award frameworks
• Well-rounded communication skills and the ability to adapt where needed
• Proactive mindset and a clear sense of ownership
• Energy, curiosity, and a practical approach to getting things done
• Comfort with interstate travel as required
