Your New FirmThis top-tier firm is well-known in the Australian legal industry for its commitment to providing excellent client services whilst supporting and developing its employees organically.
Your New RoleAdvising on high-profile M&A matters and drafting regulatory, general commercial, land access, and native title advice. You will negotiate related agreements and conduct associated litigation on significant projects in Australia. You will service both Australian and international clients across the lifecycle of their projects, including managing energy transition work and first-of-its-kind energy projects. You may act for private and government clients and traditional owners. The work mix is varied, with exposure to cross-border M&A and project development in mining, gas, green infrastructure and clean energy (including pumped hydro, wind, solar, battery storage, and hydrogen) and related infrastructure (pipelines, transmission lines, ports and rail).
- Top of the market salary with the possibility of a sign-on bonus

- 3–6 years PQE through Senior Associate level with experience in corporate M&A, commercial, or regulatory law
- Experience in the Energy and Resources industry (clean energy, electricity, mining/commodities, or oil & gas marketing, transportation, processing and joint venture arrangements) is valued but not essential
- Strong people skills and the ability to build client rapport
- Willingness to commit to potential client secondments to leading energy and resources clients
- Effective written and verbal communication with impact to internal contacts and external clients
- A team player with strong time and project management skills
