About us:
OMS Engineering is an engineering services provider based in the Illawarra region of NSW specialising in four main sectors: Statutory Services, Project Services, Engineering & Design and NDT & Inspection.

The role:
OMS Engineering are seeking motivated and enthusiastic school-leavers and graduates as candidates to be a part of our 2025 NDT Traineeship Program at Newcastle/Wollongong

Opportunities exist within our Non-destructive Testing and Asset Inspection department. You will gain practical on-the-job experience in NDT methodologies whilst undertaking training to become a Level 2 NDT Technician certified in accordance with ISO 9712.

This will then enable you to work as an NDT Technician within our business.
All qualifications and training expenses are fully funded by OMS Engineering Pty Ltd.

About you:
Ideally you will have previous experience and the following skillsets;

• Year 12 completion and pass marks in Maths, English and Science; OR

• Mechanical aptitude or an interest in how mechanical things work.
A "can do" attitude and a willingness to travel and work flexible hours is a must.
