Senior Guidewire Developer role at IAG

This is a permanent role with a flexible hybrid work model. We welcome applicants from Gadigal Country (Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Meanjin (Brisbane).

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with peers to develop and maintain PolicyCenter solutions within Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter.
  • Enhance workflow automation and orchestration.
  • Craft effective test plans and manage deployments across environments, ensuring smooth transitions to release teams.
Qualifications
  • At least five years of experience in Guidewire development.
  • Solid design and development experience with the Guidewire Cloud PolicyCenter platform.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration and automation tools within Guidewire.
  • Familiarity with Guidewire Health Check processes and defect resolution workflows.
  • Good CI/CD experience with tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with source code tools like GitHub Actions/Bitbucket.
  • Strong understanding of application design and development processes and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Ability to implement generic, reusable solutions and provide documentation and training.
  • Experience in developing and executing a software implementation plan.
