We are seeking an experienced vet nurse to join our team on a part-time basis
Findon Vet Surgery, located in the western suburbs of Adelaide, has been serving the community since 1991 Housed in a beautifully renovated building that was once a medical clinic, our hospital is not only highly functional but also a welcoming and pleasant place to work. Key responsibilities:- Undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
- Performing minor procedures when required
- Taking initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency
- Collaborating with the vet team to ensure high standards of patient care
- Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
- Reception duties and customer service
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum 2+ years' clinical experience
- Excellent animal handling skills and an extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- A calm and friendly presence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
