The opportunity

We are seeking a diligent team player with a passion for providing excellent hospitality service for the role of Houseperson at K'gari Beach Resort. As part of our housekeeping team, this role involves ensuring clean linen is packed and distributed around the complex and delivering exceptional service to our resort hotel, villa, and house accommodations.

The ideal candidate will have experience with various cleaning duties, the ability to handle the physically demanding nature of the role, and take pride in their work. This is a live-on, permanent part-time position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight across a flexible 7-day roster.

Located on an unbeatable beachfront, K'gari Beach Resort is the hub for island experiences along the east coast of K'gari. Accessible only by 4WD, this remote base offers an adventurous yet relaxed coastal escape. It's a place to build lifelong connections with like-minded colleagues from around the world and explore rainforests, ocean-fishing spots, sand dunes, and freshwater lakes.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Physically fit due to manual labor involved, including stairs, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
  • Motivated with a positive attitude and able to work effectively within a team.
  • Experience in a similar hotel/resort housekeeping role (highly regarded).
  • Valid manual Driver Licence (highly regarded).
