About The Role
As a Cook, you will report to the Chef and Head Chef, assisting in kitchen operations to deliver high-quality service. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking menu items according to recipes and standards.
  • Ensuring food is cooked properly, served timely, and presented well.
  • Managing food portions, wastage, and stock purchase, receipt, and storage.
  • Collaborating with the team to deliver dishes promptly.
  • Assisting in inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Handling equipment, appliances, and supplies effectively.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
  • Adhering to Australian food safety standards and codes of practice.

About You
Candidates should have:

  • Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., Certificate III in Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2.5 years of experience in a similar fast-paced kitchen role.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
