We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.
About the roleThe Project Officer role involves providing high-level support to the Executive Director of Regulation Policy & Dispute Services. Key tasks include managing schedules, handling emails, executing quality assurance processes, and engaging in task allocation. You'll collaborate on the development of new systems and processes whilst also taking an active role in the organisation and coordination of meetings and conferences. Your responsibilities will encompass responding to inquiries, offering timely advice, and maintaining effective customer service within the division. Adherence to departmental Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies is required. You'll utilise stakeholder insight to achieve local objectives and effectively contribute to executive support functions. This role provides an opportunity to work within a collaborative and high-performing team.
About YouTo be considered for the role, you must be able to:
- Provide high-level coordination and administrative support to the Executive Director – Regulation Policy & Dispute Services, including diary and meeting management, email, and travel arrangements.
- Manage office processes and workflow, including planning, monitoring progress, and independently allocating certain tasks to Senior Managers and team members.
- Undertake quality assurance processes to ensure that documents are of a high-quality including reports, letters, and other documentation so as to achieve consistency of quality, professionalism, and relevance of responses.
- Ensure new systems and processes are developed in consultation with colleagues across the department (as appropriate) and subject matter experts, to identify the most appropriate solutions.
