YOUR ROLEWe have an opportunity for a Broker Relationships Partner to join the team within the Intermediated Insurance (IIA) division, supporting CGU. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the relationship, service, strategy, and distribution to your aligned National Broker Group(s).

As part of the Broker & Partner Strategic Growth team, you will play a significant part in leveraging and aligning relationships to create better synergies, access to decision makers and greater consistency for all our Broker Partners to significantly impact the efficiency, growth & profitability of CGU.

You'll work in collaboration with peers in CGU, IIA and across the Group to leverage capabilities to ensure consistency and alignment and help ensure we maintain and grow our broker NPS scores across the country.

This is a permanent role open to candidates based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney). We offer hybrid working combining the advantages of office-based collaboration, and home-based work focus and flexibility.

There will be some travel required to client sites on a weekly basis, as well as participation in team strategy and training sessions. To support this, a tool of trade is provided as part of the role.

About You

  • 8+ years extensive experience working across General Insurance or similar client-facing roles
  • Strong and proven track record of business development, relationship management and driving growth
  • Good understanding of underwriting
  • Strong understanding of insurance financials and commercial acumen
  • Experience developing strategic engagement and service plans with brokers and policyholders
  • Demonstrated ability to define, plan, and shape strategies and initiatives into tactical plans for successful delivery.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, capable of addressing varied audiences
  • Tertiary qualification(s) and ANZIIF preferred
