About the RoleThe Nursing Unit Manager is responsible for the efficient management of nursing and other relevant staff under their delegation and coordination of the provision of nursing care. The Nursing Unit Manager leads nursing staff, ensures effective liaison between all health professionals, and is responsible for environmental and work, health and safety management of the units.

Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD) is a healthcare community serving the Northern Rivers region. The network connects hospitals, community health and multipurpose services across the Tweed, Richmond, and Clarence Valleys. The Local Health District emphasizes clinician engagement, clinical standards, safety and quality improvements, and involvement of direct patient care staff in planning, delivery, improvement and evaluation of health services.
