The Opportunity

You will be responsible for basic cookery and knifeskills. Perform a variety of tasks from preparing sandwiches to cutting food for gourmet meals and ensuring high standards of food safety procedures are met by demonstrating compliance with legislated health and safety requirements.

Your Day To Day
  • Deliver prepared food into the park prior to park opening.
  • Prepare raw food items in Production Kitchen, such as dicing fruit, slicing tomatoes, slicing meats, cooking basic food items,
  • Make and package of finished products such as assorted sandwiches, rolls, baguettes, fruit salad.
  • When required cook and plate in an a-la-carte environment
  • Follow workplace hygiene procedures & maintain workplace in a clean & hygienic manner.

  • Proven ability to monitor food safety procedures

  • Be punctual, reliable and trustworthy
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transport due to early starts and late-night finishes
  • Be available to work at other parks within Village Roadshow if required
  • Ability to work on any day including weekends, evenings, school holidays and functions
