Maintenance Fitter

Bindaree Food Group is a vertically integrated supply chain business delivering global meat solutions.
We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Fitter to play a vital role in maintaining and optimising our processing equipment at our Retail Ready facility in Burleigh Heads, QLD.
About the Role- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
- Work collaboratively with the operations team to ensure smooth workflow.
- Conduct regular inspections and implement preventative maintenance plans.
- Provide technical support for hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Evaluate and ensure all work is completed in line with safety and quality standards.
- Trade Qualification: Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven fault-finding skills with previous experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
