About The Role

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of residents? Calvary Aged Care invites compassionate individuals to join our dedicated team as Personal Care Workers. This is an opportunity to be part of a caring community committed to providing exceptional care to our residents.

This is a casual position.

Your main duties will include:
  • Support residents to live the life they choose, allowing them to exercise choice and independence
  • Assist residents in one-on-one activities that support their well-being, including hobbies and interests aligned with the care plan
  • Contribute to the physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs and wants of residents through assessment and observation
  • Deliver a range of personal care tasks within an established framework, including hygiene (showering, shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care) and continence management
  • Assist residents requiring mobility support as per care plan
About You
  • Certificate Level III (Individual Support)
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize workloads
  • Knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
  • Experience in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality roles
