About Woods Bagot – Architecture for Worlds Ahead

We design places that meet the challenges and opportunities of our rapidly changing world. Our commitment to exploration, impact and community creates enduring, forward‑thinking outcomes, unlocking humanity's highest potential.

With a global design culture devoted to creativity, resilience, and purpose - we ensure every project contributes to our client's vision, inspiring future generations.

About the Role

This role is responsible for supporting and delivering in-house talent sourcing and acquisition for the Woods Bagot and ERA-co Australian and New Zealand regional business. The goal is to ensure a high standard of search and recruitment outcomes across the region. Working closely with senior leadership, this role plays a key part in fostering a culture that embraces diversity and inclusivity.

You will collaborate with studio chairs, principals, project leaders, and other hiring managers, as well as studio operations and administrative teams, to coordinate recruitment and selection processes. In addition, you will partner with the People & Culture teams to ensure the effective management of employment contracts and employee records.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Your responsibilities include recruitment and engaging exceptional talent for the business, focusing on:

Talent Acquisition:

  • Undertake the process of life cycle recruiting, sourcing, attracting, screening and recruiting talent to the business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders including Studio Executive Chairs and HUB Leaders.
  • Build strong relationships and networks with key stakeholders, recruitment agencies (where required), prospective candidates and industry bodies.

Candidate Management:

  • Take full ownership at every stage of the selection process and provide an excellent candidate experience.
  • Assist with ensuring all new employees are efficiently on-boarded into the business.

Best Practice Sourcing and Selection:

  • Contribute to building the practice of the future and a diverse workforce by focusing on best practice talent acquisition processes.

About You

You're a proactive, people-focused professional with a passion for connecting talent to opportunity. With a strong background in recruitment and a deep understanding of the end-to-end hiring process, you bring both strategic insight and hands-on expertise to every search. Whether you're partnering with hiring managers to shape workforce plans or crafting compelling candidate experiences, you thrive in fast-paced environments where collaboration, agility, and results matter.

You have a keen eye for identifying top talent and a genuine interest in fostering inclusive and high-performing teams. Comfortable working across a range of roles and departments, you adapt quickly, communicate with clarity and bring a consultative approach to every stakeholder interaction.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Full life cycle and hands-on talent acquisition experience (inhouse or agency) ideally gained in an Architectural design firm or similar.
  • In-depth knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques for active and passive candidates.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment tools and electronic job boards including prior knowledge of HR tools and processes, operating applicant tracking systems (ATS) and social media-based recruitment.
  • Intermediate to advanced hands-on knowledge of how to use LinkedIn Recruiter and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Technological adaptability beneficial.
  • A proactive mindset with strong multitasking and time management skills; the role spans multiple time zones and, at times, securing top candidates may require working flexibly beyond standard local office hours.
  • Ability to work as part of a global team and as well as independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional writing and verbal communication skills in addition to active listening skill.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as required.

How to Apply

Applicants are required to submit an up-to-date resume via our LinkedIn job post. Applications will be treated in the strictest confidence. We do not accept unsolicited resumes or names from agencies. All personal data collected by the Company will be kept confidential and only used for recruitment purposes.

Mandatory requirement: It is an essential requirement that at the time of applying for this position applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia (an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident).
