Overview

Guide Healthcare is a young business with the energy and enthusiasm you would expect from a chihuahua (without the small dog syndrome) and yes that is a reference to the office puppy Sammy We are a passionate team of Allied Health professionals who have decided to live out the ethos behind why we studied to do what we do, help people to improve their quality of life. We know that every human is different and there is no one size fits all approach. We have a team of Physio's, OT's, Podiatrists, Speechies, Dietitian's and EP's who do the magic face to face (or via Telehealth when COVID gets in the way). Our Guidians focus on the individual and what they need so just as no two people are the same, neither are two days.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physiotherapy services in residential aged care, at home in the community or other settings as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Work with our Guidians to guide patients toward achieving their goals and maintain focus on what matters to each individual.
  • Deliver face-to-face sessions or Telehealth when required and collaborate with other health professionals behind the scenes to support patient care.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy or APA recognised equivalent
  • Full General AHPRA registration
  • Current National Police Check
  • Working with Vulnerable People Check - with NDIS Clearance
  • Be fully vaxxed - COVID-19 & Flu
  • Be a good human - Friendly demeanour
  • Love what you do - A demonstrated commitment and passion for promoting the quality of life of the elderly
  • Make what you do count - Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Think outside the box - Ability to think creatively, develop programs and implement systems
  • Full working rights are essential for this role, sponsorship is not available
