Senior HSE Advisor

Our client is a reputable construction company with an excellent industry reputation in Queensland. They have a strong pipeline of projects scheduled into 2025 and maintain a high-performing team in Brisbane.
The company is known for delivering high-quality work, staff retention, job security, and promoting work-life balance. They focus on projects within the $20 - $100m+ range, including commercial construction.
The Role
Due to recent project wins, they are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join their team. You will play a key role in preparing tenders and project costings for major construction projects.
The Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental standards across all site activities, ensuring adherence to legislative and organizational requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits, providing practical solutions to mitigate hazards and foster a proactive safety culture.
- Deliver HSE training to site teams, increasing awareness and engagement in safety objectives.
Requirements
- Experience with large Australian-based builders (Tier 1 or 2 preferred)
- Experience with EBAs
- Experience on projects valued at $100m and above
- At least 3 years of experience in a HSE role within the construction industry
