Responsibilities include:

  1. Transferring purchase requirements into purchase orders and placing orders with suppliers.
  2. Processing purchase orders, following up, and monitoring orders.
  3. Updating and administrating relevant purchasing documentation.
  4. Organizing purchasing-related communication between all relevant interfaces.
  5. Managing complaints as a process owner.
  6. Organizing and tracking inbound logistics and managing import/export for orders.
  7. Monitoring purchasing thresholds and approval processes, including customer-owned inventory requirements.
  8. Facilitating expired inventory mitigation activities and ensuring correct ordering aligned with working capital restrictions.
  9. Developing and executing stock/replenishment strategies, managing inventory turns, and reviewing customer forecasts monthly for BES BU materials.
  10. Maintaining a professional attitude and working cross-functionally to meet supply strategy goals.
  11. Supporting continuous improvement in planning tools and processes.
  12. Collaborating with the commercial and customer service teams to enhance customer experience.

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, planning, shipping, or logistics roles.
  • Preferred experience in distribution and/or logistics.
  • Advantageous experience in the chemical industry or similar sectors.
  • Proficiency with SAP and other reputable ERP systems, with an understanding of purchase order, planning, logistics, and warehousing systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
