This is a permanent part-time (0.38 FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2025.

The Role

As a cleaner, the successful applicant will ideally be responsible for internal cleaning duties, including maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, rubbish removal, and other general cleaning tasks. External cleaning duties include cleaning verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning drinking troughs, window cleaning, cobweb removal, and other general cleaning duties. During vacation periods, duties may include stripping and sealing vinyl floors, window cleaning, carpet shampooing and pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas.

The successful applicant will ideally have good attention to detail and be able to work well both independently and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment. The role requires being organized, honest, reliable, punctual and possessing excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices.

Eligibility

To work with us, you will need to:

• obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
• consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
