About Us

Lumus Imaging in the Northern region of Melbourne are looking for an MRI trained radiographer to join our young friendly professional MRI team working in our medical imaging departments based in Epping, Victoria. We have recently expanded our imaging departments and now service one community site for outpatient examinations and two new private hospitals in the area which provide mostly outpatient but also some inpatient work. This position is for an experienced technician to work full time in MRI with the odd rotation through CT, or Xray which we can discuss and tailor a rotation that interests you while meeting operation demand. MRI operational hours are between 7am – 8pm on weekdays, and 8am – 12 on Saturdays. There is currently NO MRI on-call.

About Us

We scan a diverse range of examinations including ortho, rheumatology, neuro, abdominal, and contrast studies so there is great variety. We currently have a GE 3T, and Siemens 3T and 1.5T scanners within our departments. These are all wide bore scanners with the latest deep learning technology, so this is a great opportunity to be involved with state of the art equipment in a great working environment.

To be successful:

• Have previous experience as an MRI Radiographer, as well as experience in CT and general Xray
• GE or Siemens experience highly desirable, however training will be provided.
• Demonstrated experience exceeding patient care and customer service delivery standards
• University or equivalent qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology
• Current AHPRA Registration and VIC radiation license
• Understanding of relevant WHS practices.
