Redcape Hospitality has excitingly acquired The Prince Consort Hotel in Fortitude Valley as of the 24th of February 2025 and want to get on the front foot in terms of recruitment. We are seeking talented, committed Commis Chefs/Chefs de Partie to join our phenomenal Kitchen Team. We're after values-aligned people that maintain a high standard of operations, focusing on delivering a seamless end-to-end customer experience and fostering a culture of performance.

Collaborative endeavours with the Venue's Head Chef, collective Kitchen Team as well as the potential for collaboration with our Group Executive Head Chef and General Manager Food would expand your thinking, foster healthy relationships with well-renowned industry professionals and enable opportunities for self-development & career progression.

  • Lead with Impact: Bring your leadership experience as a CDP, Demi Chef, or similar role to our dynamic kitchen team.
  • Problem Solver: Tackle challenges head-on and know when to seek guidance to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate & Organise: Use your excellent communication skills and strong organisational abilities to enhance teamwork and efficiency.
  • Hands-On Service Ethic: Maintain an uncompromising approach to product & service delivery, food safety & hygiene standards, ensuring excellence at every turn.
  • Quality & Consistency Expert: Showcase your exceptional skills by delivering top-notch quality across all menu items.
  • Multi-Tasking Maven: Navigate multiple service points seamlessly while supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Team Player: Work cohesively and autonomously within a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexible Availability: Adapt to rotating shifts, including prep, lunch, and dinner services, across 7 days and public holidays to fit our hotel's operating hours.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bring your experience to a fast-paced kitchen, along with a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Kitchen Management for an exciting career with us.
  • Kitchen Proficiency: Ideal candidates will have proficiency across all kitchen sections, ready to contribute wherever needed
