Overview

Experienced Hygienist/OHT - Part-Time role in Newcastle at Bendigo Advertiser. Our busy, modern dental practice in Newcastle is seeking a patient-focused Oral Health Therapist or Hygienist to join our professional and welcoming team on a part-time basis. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional preventive care and building long-term patient relationships. Our practice is equipped with advanced dental technology, including guided biofilm therapy using EMS Airflow, to ensure patients receive the highest standard of care. This part-time position offers up to three days per week, with additional shifts available to cover sick and annual leave, including Saturday mornings on a rotational basis. You\'ll work alongside a friendly, collaborative team in a supportive and professional environment where patient experience is always the top priority.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hygienist or oral health therapy services with a patient-first approach
  • Deliver preventive care and build long-term patient relationships
  • Utilise EMS Airflow guided biofilm therapy and other advanced dental technology
  • Collaborate with a friendly, supportive team and maintain a positive patient experience
Qualifications
  • Current AHPRA registration and EPA Licence as an Oral Health Therapist/Hygienist
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Caring, motivated approach with a passion for patient education
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
  • A patient-first mindset, ensuring a positive dental experience for all
