Join us to be part of our exciting next and new chapter. Bear Bones has an exciting opportunity for a specialty coffee sales professional to join our fast-growing business
We are seeking a Business Development Manager with a talent for building strong customer relationships and a drive to acquire new business. You will ideally have experience in specialty coffee and strong connections within the hospitality industry.
We require someone with the ability to adapt to the dynamics of coffee sales, a passion for supporting your cafe clients, and who is a strong team player.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ability to build strong new relationships that align with the Bear Bones brand and values
- Grow and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and prospective clients
- Working with the management team to deliver incremental growth through new business
- Be a positive representative of Bear Bones through internal and industry events: cuppings, social media, and industry involvement
- Support and nurture existing business through relationship management and training
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience and a passion for the specialty coffee industry
- The desire to maintain strong relationships with new and existing businesses, and to manage customer expectations
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently while demonstrating the willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
- A positive attitude with a passion to deliver high-quality and consistent customer service
- Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
- The desire to seek out opportunities to add value to both Bear Bones and our café partners
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- A full Australian driver's license and a personal vehicle as position covers the Greater Brisbane area with occasional travel to other regions
