Overview

GP Sales Representative – Cardiometabolic. Wollongong, Australia. This is a permanent role promoting to General Practitioners, Pharmacists and Diabetes Educators across the Sutherland Shire, Wollongong and the South Coast territory (including Nowra). You will engage with healthcare professionals, build relationships, and promote a lifesaving drug.

Deadline: 31 October 2025. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with existing General Practitioners and Diabetes Educators and expand the target group of customers.
  • Be highly organized, self-motivated, and driven to build patient-centric HCP relationships.
  • Develop and execute a robust territory business plan leveraging face-to-face and digital engagements to create a personalised omni-channel experience for customers.
  • Execute marketing strategies and conduct group presentations; monitor competitors and report directly.
  • Work in accordance with business ethics procedures, local laws, Novo Nordisk Way and policies.
Team and Reporting

You will join a high-performing sales team that promotes Novo Nordisk products both in person and virtually in your designated territory. You will report directly to the State Sales Manager and liaise with colleagues from Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Clinical, Medical & Regulatory departments at head office in North Sydney. You will develop and implement territory plans and prospect new customers to drive sales for existing and new products.

Qualifications
  • GP sales experience in the pharmaceutical or similar industry; ideally local to the advertised territory.
  • Strong sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Tertiary education, preferably in Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical fields, with ability to handle complex data and present to customers.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly, including occasional extended hours and weekends.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
