Job Purpose

Caterpillar Financial currently has an opportunity for a Senior Credit Analyst to join the Financial Products Division based in Tullamarine. This position will be responsible for carrying out activities necessary to provide credit to customers with acceptable limits of risk to the company.

The key responsibilities of this role include;

  • Reviewing equipment finance facilities to determine customer credit worthiness;
  • Approving or rejecting finance applications within your authority, and recommending decisions on transactions beyond your credit authority;
  • Assisting in the review and administration of wholesale and retail customer lines of credit;
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly portfolio reports;
  • Negotiating complex financial transactions;
  • Compliance with all policies and procedures to a high degree of accuracy.
Skills, Abilities & Knowledge
  • Be highly analytical and demonstrate an organised approach to your work;
  • Have a proven ability to work under pressure;
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with multiple business units, internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • A Finance / Business / Accounting degree or equivalent experience
