You will have the opportunity to conduct flavour application and provide technical expertise in non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverage products. You will be responsible for assisting with projects, effective record keeping and maintaining beverage laboratory practices and equipment according to business goals and EH&S polices.

In this exciting new role, with a delivery mindset you will:
Develop our Business:As a highly self-motivated team player, you will be engaged in this exciting period of change in our Oceania Business. You will have the ability to create and formulate non-alcoholic and Alcoholic Beverages as required from customer briefs and apply knowledge during flavour selection, evaluation and application development.
You will responsible for making optimal flavours and assisting in the selection process for projects according to specified requirements and assist in the evaluation of flavours in application for briefs, research projects and portfolio evaluations. You will also serve as a technical support to marketing, sales, flavour creation and customers for specific applications.

Position our Products: Be part of a dynamic team, contributing with passion, and working towards creating success. Actively maintain the flavour performance data for the flavour portfolio through evaluation in finished product and capture profiles. Maintain a safe, clean and organised lab environment in accordance with EH&S policies and implement these polices for others to follow these guidelines. Demonstrate leadership through coaching, training and motivating technicians and technologists.

Impact the bottom line: Be an integral member of a broader team who are working together to deliver targeted solutions to customers. With project managements skills you will assist in the development and delivery of projects in the Beverages Lab. Execute the translation of market trends into innovative products for customers. Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers while establishing trust and respect.

Service our Customers: Undertake customer visits to service customer needs and provide technical support to our sales and marketing teams. Ensure effective communication with the Sales team and other functions within the business. You as a beverage application technologist can use your creativity and application knowledge to support key account managers in delivering clear value propositions to our customers and ensure they receive the right flavour and product concept for their unique brand.

Your professional profile includes:
*Polytechnic or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering
*Alcoholic Beverage Application Experience is highly desirable
*Non-alcoholic and Alcoholic Beverage manufacturing experience is desirable.
*Knowledge of Beverage ingredients, laboratory equipment and functions.
*Demonstrates tasting skills and able to effectively describe flavour profiles of beverages
*1-2 years of experience in Beverage Application will be highly regarded
