About the Role

Are you ready to bring your financial expertise into a hands-on leadership role where your insights directly shape business success? Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will take charge of financial strategy while also leading the consolidation of shared services across the organisation. You'll inspire a team of talented professionals, nurturing a positive, business-focused culture that values excellence and accountability.

Responsibilities

In this dynamic and influential position, you will:
  • Lead all financial reporting activities, including the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
  • Manage internal and external audit processes, ensuring robust compliance.
  • Oversee all tax-related obligations and liaise directly with the Australian Taxation Office.
  • Prepare consolidated income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows to support executive decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Drive improvements in management reporting, budgeting, and financial planning across the business.
Skills and Experience Required
  • Degree qualified with CA or CPA accreditation.
  • Experience using SAP Hana and Cognos is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements under Accounting Standards, the Corporations Act, and the Taxation Act.
