Positions: Day Services Supervisors x2

Location: Kwinana Pigment Processing Facility, WA
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Roster: 38-hour week (Compressed 9-day fortnight option)

We are currently seeking two experienced Supervisors to head up our - 'Day Services - Base Plant' & 'Day Services - Finishing Plant' teams at our Kwinana Pigment Processing Facility, located approximately 35 minutes south of Perth.

These roles are pivotal in supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality operations for the 'Base Plant' and 'Finishing Plant'.

Reporting to the Lead – Operations, Planning & Support, each Supervisor will manage a team to deliver operational excellence, focusing on safety, quality, timing, and cost control.

Base Plant Supervisor – Responsible for issuing permits, overseeing maintenance preparations, and ensuring all non-shift activities comply with safety standards.

Finishing Plant Supervisor – Responsible for managing the production warehouse operations, ensuring smooth workflow, inventory control, and efficient execution of daily schedules.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Supervising and supporting a team to uphold high standards in timing, quality, and cost management.
• Coordinating routine non-shift activities aligned with SQLCST (Safe, Quality, Low Cost, Sustainable, Tons) objectives.
• Collaborating with the Operations Lead to ensure efficient execution of daily schedules.
• Supporting production teams during assigned shifts to maintain equipment preparation standards.
• Driving timely turnaround of production equipment during scheduled maintenance.
• Providing skilled operational support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Managing team coverage to ensure smooth execution of routine and essential activities.
• Responding to break-in work and emerging maintenance needs.
• Monitoring and controlling costs associated with non-shift activities.
• Coordinating contractors for routine and emergency tasks.
• For the Base Plant Supervisor, ensure all permits are issued accurately and on time to support maintenance and production activities.
• For the Finishing Plant Supervisor, oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and product dispatch.

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience supervising teams, preferably in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Strong understanding of permit systems and safe work practices in high-risk industrial settings.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate routine and non-shift activities with a focus on safety, quality, and cost.
• Technical skills in troubleshooting and supporting continuous process operations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across departments and shifts.
• A proactive, safety-first mindset with knowledge of risk management in Major Hazard Facilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to operational needs.
• Familiarity with SQLCST principles and a commitment to operational excellence.
• Experience with SAP operating systems.
