The OpportunityOur Lysaght business is looking for an Operations Supervisor – Afternoon Shift to join the team based in Archerfield, QLD. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation, from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects.
Using 100% Australian-made steel, you'll be key to providing customers with what they need, when they need it, by managing the day-to-day operations of the facility.

What Will You Do?- Lead and supervise our operations area including production, machine operation, loading, and maintenance in collaboration with our afternoon and night shift Operations Supervisors.
- Support and assist your team with daily operational activities.
- Initiate and lead site improvement projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and mitigate risk—striving for on-time delivery for our customers.
- Ensure safety standards are continuously evolving, championing change when risks and opportunities are identified.
- Grow and mentor your team to develop their technical capabilities and cross-skill team members.
Being a reliable and dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring:
- Exposure to working in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in managing operational departments and safety.
- Experience in project execution.
- A positive attitude and a keen eye for detail.
