Overview

Enterprise Account Executive role at Salesforce. We are looking for outcomes-oriented, highly collaborative Account Executives with an entrepreneurial spirit to help tackle an extensive market opportunity and achieve revenue targets. This is not a standard tactical role selling a piece of software. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for owning and driving the go-to-market strategy for your territory and leading the sales cycle. You will sell strategic business outcomes with long-term, high growth engagements.

In this role, you will be challenged as a salesperson to grow personally and professionally. The majority of leaders in our Field organisation come through internal promotions, and you'll be surrounded by some of the smartest people who will push you to do the best work of your career.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the entire sales process to deliver against key performance metrics, with emphasis on new business sales while growing existing accounts.
  • Handle strategic accounts and relationships across the team.
  • Drive pipeline development through cold calling, email campaigns, and market sector knowledge with the Business Development Manager.
  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline to over-achieve within designated market sectors.
  • Engage with prospect organisations to position Salesforce solutions through strategic value-based selling, ROI analysis, references and analyst data.
  • Lead end-to-end sales process with appropriate resources (Core Sales, Sales Engineers, Professional Services, Executives, Partners, etc.).
  • Daily update of the Salesforce system with accurate customer and pipeline data.
  • Accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting and revenue delivery.
  • Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings.
Basic Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and people skills
  • Shown track record of achievement against targets and metrics
  • Credibility internally and with customers
  • Validated sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement
  • Successful history of net new business and existing business upsell
  • Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals
  • Experience evaluated based on alignment to core role competencies (e.g., extracurricular leadership, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)
