Norco AgriSolutions have been serving customers since 1948 with 26 stores across NSW and QLD, Animal Nutrition mills and an in-house commodity trading team. About The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity now available in our Casino Norco AgriSolutions retail store for an experienced, enthusiastic and organised, self-starter to join our team on a full-time basis.
Your Day-to-day Activities Will Include
- Provide agricultural advisory and sales service to clients and build business partnerships with our customer base through the provision of sound technical advice.
- Proactively source new customers to achieve branch KPI's and sales targets.
- Inventory management, including ordering, receipting, stocktake and dispatch.
- Processing of sales and generating quotes.
- Forklift operation and customer deliveries.
You will need to be enthusiastic and self-motivated, with great customer service and sales experience. Able to meet deadlines whilst balancing a range of work and have a keen interest in an agricultural environment.
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
- Strong customer service and sales experience.
- Experience working in a rural retail and warehousing environment (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated understanding of the rural industry.
- Technical skills in Agricultural Science, Animal Health or Agronomy is an advantage.
- Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy skills including Microsoft office, point of sale software (POS) and administration skills.
- Physically fit to perform the manual handling aspects of the role.
- A strong focus on Work Health & Safety.
- Drivers licence essential.
- Forklift licence or willingness to get one.
- HV licence, highly beneficial.
