Field Service Engineer (Field/Mobile Mechanic/Vehicle Technician)

Location: Aberdeen to Peterhead Territory

Working Hours: 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £31,000 - £36,000 Starting Salary

Overview:
Field Service Engineer role available in an international market leader of forklift trucks. The role will suit those looking for a mobile role, lots of training, overtime if desired, and progression routes.

The company has a comprehensive training plan in place to fully support the engineers in the field. Those with experience on cars, HGVs, agriculture, motorbikes, plant equipment, or similar will be very suited to the role. You need to demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally have engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills.

Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
  2. Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
  3. Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
  4. Spares placed in van overnight
Minimum Requirements:
Experience on cars, HGVs, agriculture, motorbikes, plant equipment, or similar.
