The Role
We are recruiting a FP&A Analyst on behalf of our client to join their high-performing finance team. This hands-on role will drive financial rigor, optimize business performance, and support strategic decision-making across their operations. Reporting to the General Manager – Finance, you will work closely with operational leaders to deliver actionable insights and contribute to the organization's mission-driven objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct month-end analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports to provide actionable insights for operational stakeholders.
- Analyze profit and loss, margins, and service hours to enhance operational efficiency.
Business Partnering:
- Collaborate with operational leaders to provide financial guidance and drive performance improvements.
- Translate complex financial data into clear, concise reports and presentations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
Strategic Data Integration:
- Leverage internal and external data sources to provide market and demographic insights.
- Partner with data teams to enhance strategic reporting.
Process Improvement:
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes, focusing on data validation and reconciliation.
- Contribute to the rollout of new finance and billing systems.
Team Collaboration:
- Foster a collaborative, mission-aligned culture, engaging with cross-functional teams to support organizational goals.
About You
Our client is seeking a passionate and proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have:
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Qualified accountant (CPA/CA) or equivalent with strong financial acumen.
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting within a complex, service-based organization.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Power BI.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and validation.
- A collaborative mindset with alignment to the organization's mission.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Familiarity with the services sector (training provided).
- Experience with strategic data analysis, including external datasets or market trends.
