THE ROLE
The Data Migration Team Lead will play a critical role in the Digital Opportunities program to ensure the success of migrating supervised contact data from the current Contact and Transport Scheduling (CATS) system to the DFFH client management system (CRIS). The Data Migration Team Lead's leadership and knowledge of Child Protection practices for supervised contacts and court orders for out-of-home-care children will ensure that the migration processes are executed as planned and issues are managed and resolved to meet the timelines set.
The Data Migration Team Lead will also support the Digital Opportunities Project Teamin providing hyper-care support to Child Protection Practitioners and CP Support Workers once the new contact and transport scheduling functionality is rolled out in CRIS. This will involve working closely alongside the Digital Opportunities Implementation Lead.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Manage the data migration team; create a structured and methodical configuration management system (SharePoint based - to deal with different stages of data migration quality assurance, managing of nuances of actual user data and appropriate nomenclature between raw and final data stages) for team to operate from; assign work appropriately to team members; provide advice and guidance in performing data migration activities.
- Ensure that migration timelines are met – managing risks around handling complexity of data collection, cleansing, combination and final consolidation.
- Undertake regular planning with the Implementation Lead to support migration and hyper-care activities.
