Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Economics

The economics discipline group focuses on key areas including sustainable economies, economic growth and development, industrial organisation, economic theory, international trade, labour economics and industrial relations, health economics and political economy and public choice.
We are seeking a Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor of Economics to lead major research, scholarship and creative activities generating high impact outputs.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Economics, an internationally recognised research reputation, success in obtaining competitive external research grants, and evidence of original and distinguished contribution to research and research supervision.
The role involves leading teaching teams, designing and developing courses and materials, and providing students with an excellent learning experience.
The successful candidate will also contribute to pedagogy research projects and demonstrate a disciplinary reputation in teaching scholarship and pedagogical research.
