Our Fortitude Valley site is seeking Stock Associates to ensure smooth and efficient stock operations in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment. We have a part-time role, working 30 hours per fortnight and a part-time role working 50 hours per fortnight. Both of these roles are on a fixed two-week rotating roster.

As a Stock Associate, you will:

  1. Uphold high standards for store and stockroom maintenance and cleanliness.
  2. Straighten, clean, and maintain the stockroom as needed.
  3. Follow all stockroom procedures meticulously.
  4. Process, ticket, and restock merchandise efficiently.
  5. Pack and log merchandise for customer deliveries.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  7. Comply with all company policies and procedures.

You will be successful as a Stock Associate if you:

  1. Have experience in a retail stock, warehouse, or Back of House role.
  2. Have a passion for homewares and/or food.
  3. Thrive in a team environment but can also work independently and manage your own time effectively.
  4. Achieve success with clearly defined goals but are also proactive in completing tasks using your initiative.
  5. Possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to be mobile throughout the store and back-of-house areas, including standing for long periods.
  2. Capable of climbing ladders and using equipment in accordance with safety standards.
  3. Ability to lift and maneuver medium to large items (up to 30kg) using appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
