Texas P-10 State School is a small, inclusive, and community-focused school located in the rural town of Texas, Queensland. Catering to students from Prep to Year 10, the school offers a supportive and personalised learning environment where every student is known, valued, and encouraged to achieve their best. With a strong focus on academic success, wellbeing, and community partnerships, Texas P-10 State School fosters lifelong learning and prepares students for future education and career pathways.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake routine activities including reception (telephone and counter enquiries), arranging appointments, correspondence and general administration; maintain school records such as incident reports, student admissions, enrolments and departures; process incoming and outgoing mail and email.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. school and departmental staff, parents, students, and community members); provide information and advice in line with school policies and/or Principal and Business Manager directives; demonstrate empathy and emotional understanding and support.
  • Support all staff and students with general enquiries.
  • Support the Business Manager with administrative functions as requested.
