Our client is a market leader in the specialist medical industry, backed by a global private equity firm. As they continue to expand their footprint across Australia, they are in an exciting phase of refining their operations and developing best in market practices.

This role is an opportunity to become a trusted partner, and working to enhance the employee lifecycle, partnering closely with a high-performing P&C team. You will support stakeholders across practices and build strong partnerships to support the success of their teams

The Leaders

This role reports to the Head of P&C, who is well-tenured in industry, having operated in high-performance environments. You will also work closely with two exceptional HR Business Partners, and regional leaders across Australia to manage people related matters and drive engagement and performance.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join their tight knit and collaborative P&C team, where you'll play a key role in supporting employees and driving positive workplace outcomes across multiple sites.

In this role, you'll provide hands-on generalist HR support, collaborating closely with HR Business Partners to enhance people strategies across the business.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees, offering guidance on HR policies, procedures, and workplace issues.
  • Manage various stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation assessments, performance management, and exit processes.
  • Support case management by handling minor employee relations issues, grievances, and performance improvement plans.
  • Organise and contribute to HR initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, policy development, and training efforts.
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners to uphold compliance with employment laws and company policies, ensuring meticulous record-keeping.
  • Provide support in HR data reporting and analytics to drive informed business decisions.
  • Oversee the Human Resource Information System (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy and timely updates.
  • Own the administrative duties with the support of a HR Intern, to support the P&C Team as required

About You

To be considered for this role you will be an experienced HR Advisor or Generalist that has experience and understanding of a multisite environment. You will be hands on, not afraid to roll your sleeves up and get into the detail whilst also thinking longer-term.

Working at pace and in a collaborative manner will see you succeed by remaining focused on desired outcomes and supporting the HR Business Partners and Head of P&C. Collaborating closely with and supporting the HR Business Partners you will enhance people strategies across the business
