  • Remuneration: Level B position from $127,947 base, Level C position from $155,403 base + Clinical Loading + 17% Super + Annual Leave Loading

UNSW School of Clinical Medicine encompasses our Clinical Campuses and affiliated sites. It includes metropolitan campuses (South West Sydney, St George & Sutherland, Randwick, St Vincent's Healthcare) and rural campuses (Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour, Wagga Wagga, Albury, Griffith). Why This Role Matters

The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer - Teaching & Research role strengthens Education-Focused academic capacity in the Discipline of Critical Care, supporting the Undergraduate Medicine Program Redesign and ensuring high-quality teaching, coordination, and curriculum development across the St George and Sutherland Clinical Campuses and the School of Clinical Medicine.

Responsibilities may include delivering clinical teaching, educational leadership, and contributing to research and curriculum development with a preference for a Critical Care focus.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • A PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
  • Medical qualification registerable in NSW and specialist training, preferably in a Critical Care field.
  • Experience in teaching and learning design, scholarly activities, and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
  • Experience with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and commitment to educational excellence.
  • Knowledge of industry or work-integrated learning (desirable).
  • Ability to support students from diverse backgrounds and promote equity, diversity and inclusion.
  • Evidence of high-quality research with potential for leadership and high impact.
  • Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team and across disciplines.
  • Demonstrated organisational and collaboration skills.
