Overview

Royal Freemasons is seeking an experienced and motivated clinical Quality Manager to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and service excellence to residents across our seven Aged Care homes. This role is accountable for the ongoing development and evaluation of all components of the quality and risk management reviews and will facilitate the process of continuous improvement in line with the Aged Care Standards and associated requirements for our aged care residences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, review, and evaluate quality systems to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Lead quality and compliance meetings across multidisciplinary teams, support the Facility Manager and teams to analyse data on key performance indicators and risk.
  • Identify gaps and create innovative solutions in collaboration with site management and the quality team to facilitate mitigation strategies.
  • Provide advice and support to Residential Aged Care staff around Aged Care Quality Standards requirements and assist in the resident assessment process.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field; current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA is preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including the Aged Care Act 2025, Governing for Reform in Aged Care, and the Support at Home program.
  • Registered Quality Assessor is highly regarded.
  • Successful completion of the Aged Care Quality Assessor's Course is highly regarded.
Other Requirements

A current, full Victorian driver's licence; compliance with licence restrictions as applicable. A mandatory Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or both) is required to undertake the inherent requirements of this role. All aged care workers are encouraged to be vaccinated against Covid-19 (3 vaccines) and the Flu vaccine.
