Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Team Member to join our dynamic sales team at our busy Cannington store.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping customers, has a strong work ethic, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering an outstanding shopping experience through excellent customer service, expert product knowledge, and sales driving.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales: Assist customers with product selection, demonstrate features, and close sales
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Store Presentation: Maintain product displays and store presentation to high standards
- Transaction Processing: Process sales transactions accurately and handle cash and payments
- Merchandise Management: Restock and replenish merchandise as needed
- Team Support: Support the team with other retail duties as required
Requirements
- Permanent Work Rights: Must have permanent work rights in Australia (Note: We are not an approved business sponsor and cannot sponsor applicants)
- Previous Sales Experience: Previous experience in a sales role is highly desirable
- Flexibility: Ability to work across retail hours, including weekends, late nights, and school holidays
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Product Knowledge: Strong product knowledge and ability to match customer needs with products
- Numerical Skills: Numerical skills and accuracy in handling cash and transactions
- Teamwork: Positive, team-oriented attitude and collaborative spirit
- Lifting Ability: Ability to lift a minimum of 15kg as part of daily duties
- Certifications: Valid Western Australian Driver's Licence, Police Clearance (less than 2 months old), and understanding of workplace health and safety principles
