Ventia has exciting opportunities available for Bulk Material Handling Operators to join our team at Roxby Downs. As part of this role, successful candidates will contribute to the ongoing support of BHP Billiton's Olympic Dam operations, ensuring the reliable delivery of bulk materials handling and associated services.
This is a permanent role with a 2-weeks-on, 1-week-off roster. Each swing, you will complete one week of day shifts followed by one week of night shifts. We provide return flights from Adelaide to Roxby Downs, along with accommodation. You will receive six hours of paid time on travel days and work 12-hour shifts while on site.

This role requires you to:

  • Adhere to safety regulations, procedures and instructions.
  • Execute construction and maintenance activities including receive load, unload, relocate and distribute materials on the work sites.
  • Control and operate equipment, including but not limited to excavators, dump trucks, haulers, loaders, mobile crushers, MTS, integrated tool carriers, in a safe, compliant, efficient and accurate manner.
  • This equipment is used in the provision of bulk materials handling services including Slag Pot Management, Slag Hauler operations, Electric Furnace Slag, Sand Processing, Anode Haulage and routine services.

We are seeking Multi Skilled Operators preferably with the below tickets:

  • 2-3 years' experience in civil construction preferred.
  • HR (or higher) Licence.
  • Front End Loader.
  • Integrated Tool Carrier.
  • White Card.
  • Excavator.
  • Strong Communication Skills.
