Role Overview: As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing corporate tax compliance and consulting engagements for a diverse client portfolio. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide strategic tax planning and advisory services, ensuring adherence to tax regulations and optimizing tax efficiency.

Job Description:

  • Advising clients on M&A transactions including structuring of transactions and conducting tax due diligence in conjunction with the Partners and other tax specialists.
  • Leading client service teams and managing service delivery to clients;
  • Providing commercial tax advice to clients, including identifying and resolving tax issues in conjunction with the Partners;
  • Research and analysis of case law and legislation;
  • Manage and develop junior staff members and deliver in-house technical training to the wider team.
  • Review of income tax returns and provisions;

Requirements:

Essential

  • Business / Commerce / Finance degree with Accounting Major
  • Completed CA or equivalent

Desirable

  • Business / Commerce / Finance/ Law double degree with Accounting Major
  • Master of Taxation

Experience:

  • 5+ years' experience in tax advisory, with experience in Professional Services
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience managing and developing junior team members
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent client service skills
